I think cost 1st is quite realistic, this prospect is just a placeholder.

If you're going to top 10 protect the 1st round pick, it needs to be a real prospect and not just a name for the Vezina winner to go back to Buffalo

He's new here. Let him tire himself out

Boston might consider that. I doubt Ullmark is willing to go back from what i have read. His 16 team NTC probably prevents a reunion.

Buffalo and Ullmark had no trouble breaking up. Linus spoke very highly of Buffalo and the team is now in a different phase. Not sure if there will be problems with NTC.

An article he sat down for this year that I read he said he was so unhappy was close to quitting the NHL before coming to Boston.

You usually don’t hear that even if that’s how they really feel. Usually you just here pablum. So i’ll take that at face value over cliche. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Strange then, I didn't see him speak badly of Buffalo. Well then this might not work of course.

He didn’t specifically say it was Buffalo per se, but you’d have to think it had something to do with it.

Well, then he probably would not have negotiated a contract extension, but he would have immediately gone in UFA. Maybe because of the injuries he had problems, he seems to have had several concussions.

Was probably a combination of things, was not in a great space mentally. He needed the fresh start. Who knows, maybe now that he’s centered himself he;d consider a return. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd definitely consider that if I was Chevy but I'm not a DeMelo fan.
