Colorado would not do this. If leafs want Toews, it would need to include Marner. Those do nothing for us this year or next prospects and late picks, don't help Colorado at all. Thank you for asking though

Depends on how they view Minten and Niemela, and also on what other moves/signings they cann pull off. It's not a hard no, but there needs to be more context (e.g. who replaces Toews, how do they address forward depth, etc.).

Teams don’t make trades to make other trades, if that’s the case it’s a 3 way trade but COL isn’t trading a top pairing dman for futures so they can maybe get a 2c
