Dude Campbell is owed $20M more on his deal and he is awful. That offer you put up is what it will cost to move Campbell’s contract lol you still have to actually pay for Hart

I think it's an interesting base for the deal though. The Campbell contract obviously sucks but doesn't suck as much when the Flyers are rebuilding. Maybe if they added another solid prospect or bumped that 2nd up to a 1st it would be at least somewhat more intriguing. I also don't think Hart to EDM makes any sense when they have Skinner.

I think you would have to add Bourg and a 2nd or add a 1st to that deal to make it interesting. Doesn’t matter if the Flyers are rebuilding, the Campbell contract is literally going to be impossible to get rid of except for a giant offer lol

My thinking is that even if you don't get fair value for taking on Campbell, the deal that includes him with all that stuff for Hart is better than whatever you'd get for Hart and however else they'd use that 5M in space. Holloway, Bourg, Broberg, (2) 2nds + Campbell for Hart would be a pretty good haul

I don't have full thoughts on the rest of the package, but I gotta say that Campbell is most certainly putting Philly on his 10 team no trade list. At 31, he's not gonna want to leave a potential contender to play on a rebuilding team.

If you truly want Campbell gone, you're gonna need to find a team that's either competing or very close to it that also has good cap space and willing to take it on for some other pieces.

Or you could buy him out and suffer the cap hit.
