  2. 2023 2nd round pick (VAN)
  3. 2025 2nd round pick (DET)
Additional Details:
Less value coming to LAK because Det helps get rid of Pederson. 2 seconds for Durzi is fair plus a McIsaac getting a change in scenery. Frees a RD spot for Clarke to come up in LA

Not sure why the retention is necessary when you have Detroit at 68mil in cap hit. Drop the 2025 pick going to LA and the retention from Peterson. I could see LA going for something like that.

Detroit fans likely say it costs more to move Petersen. But I like the basis for this.

No need to overcomplicate this. Dump the two draft picks and the retention on Petersen and the Kings would probably do it.

I cannot improve on this one iota.

I think no retention on Cal and only 1 2nd, 2 2nds plus cal is an overpay

There isn't much of a price here for Hirose but he seems like that classic 4a type ball player. Too good for the minors but can't quite stick with the big club. This is concerning as its not like the Wings have been a juggernaut the past few years. If you can't get more then a cup of coffee on that team you are likely nothing more then an AHL lifer. Canucks decline and use those picks on prospects who will also likely not make the NHL but at least have a shot.

I agree Hirose has 0 trade value as a NHL player. He is a good AHL player but no one is giving up assets to get him.

Yeah, it’s safe to say 100% of this has a 0% chance of happening. Most of all that LAK trade is abysmal.
