I feel like you're throwing Nikishin in there like he's just a no name prospect but he's probably close to untouchable for CAR. He's like Michkov in the sense that he's a tier 1 prospect but tied down to a KHL contract for a few years.

Yeah, Nikishin is the deal breaker there. I think you're trying to throw in a no-name prospect and yet you accidentally chose the one that Carolina wouldn't include for Meier because he just had the best KHL season ever by a Russian defenseman and he's 21. He had one of the best KHL seasons for any defenseman ever to be fair, but even so, not the point. I doubt you'd get Teuvo back for someone the Canes know is a 1 year rental
