No trade just sign Patty Kane and "we like our group"

I know most people say we won't be getting Ghost back but he feels like the perfect hedge for losing one of our other top 4 in 24-25. Im hoping he will want to stay at a slight discount and run it back with this group.

Would he really come to Carolina otherwise? We have the cap space. Im sure it's a bit aggressive but probably the only way it happens.

Okay... but you could also just sign Tarasenko for 5.5 x 3 and not have a guy worth 3 million on the books for 10?

Totally fair, I was not 100% of Kanes value but knew it would take an overpay. I dont hate the idea of Vlad but the idea is the same in essence. Keep the group together and bring in a scoring winger with the big cap space
