LA doesnt have a starting goalie and need a left-shot defenseman, to get all that and Matthews will be a stretch. Also got to factor in that no one has a clue what Matthews wants, and this just seems unlikely.

I suppose LA makes that trade and worries about cap after, but they really can't afford Matthews as it is. You'd have to take some cap back or get a third party involved (perhaps Columbus?).

Middle-6 wing is the perfect role for Roslovic. Just make sure he's on a line with someone who has a hockey IQ, because he does not.

This is the first semi-realistic Matthews-to-LA trade I've seen on CF. Just add Cal Petersen and our 2023 second to make the cap work and I would take this offer. You can even add a prospect if you like.
