For Vancouver to take Granlund, I would say the pick would need to be higher

Habs have 0 reason to pay for a d-man like Ruuta. Only reason I can think of is them thinking they can resell him at the deadline for more. An unlikely thing considering he's Jan Ruuta.

Canucks won't take Granlund. The reason for moving Garland is to clear cap space, taking back Granlund nullifies that point entirely.

Guys, this account is a bot. You shouldn't be giving it the time off day. You should be reporting it.

it all depends on how they view Garland, Granlund has 1 less year and can play C if they move JT

Granlund has 1 less year but is significantly worse than Garland and makes the same amount. This downgrades our 3rd line while not giving up the cap space to improve anywhere else. The point of trading guys like Garland or Boeser is to downgrade our strongest position, winger, while giving us cap space to upgrade our weaker area's like 3C, defence, and PK.
