Hellebuyck would probably want significantly more term, probably looking at a 6-8 year contract, otherwise he will just walk to UFA status. Also I don't think that trade is good enough to get him from WPG. We would probably need to throw in a couple more assets to get it done.

Also where is Kyle Okposo? He is signed next year so I would imagine that he would be in their lineup. Also Middelstadt is going to be playing down the center at least at the start of the year.

laugh Connor Hellebuyck isn't signing for no 3 x $8,000,000 he's going to want full term.

According to TSN, Hellebuyck is looking at being paid the high priced goalie in the league at 8 x $10,000,000. Good luck he's not taking that low ball deal.

Jets would be lucky to get Ostlund alone. This trade is a massive gift for a rental goalie.

No fron Winnipeg. There's no need for them to do the pick swap. Take out the pick swap and keep the 3rd and you're good.

Just make it 13 upl and a prospect for helle and Stanley. Jets can add the 3rd to make that prospect ostlund

My deal
Hellebuyck Stanley 2023 3rd and Vesalainen for
13th upl ostlund and if you want to toss in something small like a 6th
Boom works for both and makes sense unlike what you have here

I know a lot of jet fans want to trade Pionk for anything. But the reality is Winnipeg can't afford to trade one of two NHL RHD that they have for less than it costs to replace him.

Buffalo hasn't made the playoffs in 12 years and they're currently picking 13th overall.

Hellebuyck has said that he wants to win a cup now, Sorry that's not happening in Buffalo. So the odds of him signing long term with Buffalo is slim to none.

I don't know how true but hearing 1 of your D might be available, and that it isn't DeMelo

I would imagine the guy the Jets want to move is Schmidt. Whether that is who gets moved, is hard to say.

DeMelo played a lot with Morrissey last season, so I wouldn't think be Jets moved. Unless of course he asks you be moved.

Heard from someone very reliable that Chev and Adams have had conversations recently on 1 of your D. Do not know which one but gathering what was said DeMelo isn't available.

WPG and BUF seem to like dealing. It has to be Helly for Luuk and the #13 pick this year. The rest of the makeup of the trade is up in the air. I would like to see Krebs, or Johnson or Östlund in the deal as well. ESPECIALLY JOHNSON. Afterall, BUF has a lot of young D already. cool

Buffalo missed the playoffs by 1 point with the youngest team in the league and God awful goaltending.

They are a 100 point plus team simply by adding hellybuck and power, Quinn, peterka, Krebs getting a year of experience
