Giving up a 1st round pick to trade Goodrow is absurd. They can buy him out and actually gain more than his full cap hit for the first 2 years of the buy out. The Kane and Tarasenko contracts........

If Goodrow will waive, Hawks accept. And buy out Goodrow at the earliest opportunity.

Goodrow doesn't need to waive. HE IS ON A M-NTC which means he has submitted a list of teams where he has refused to be traded, but any team not on that list he has no say whether he moves or not. This also means he can be sent down on waivers, bought out, or anything. He has no say in the matter he is on a M-NTC not a NMC.

Don't worry I know I sound smart. There is no way of knowing if Goodrow has the Hawks on his list so I am going off the notion that he most likely doesn't have them on there (especially considering when he signed the deal).
