Grzelyck is not worth that kind of money on an extension, and imo this trade just isn’t worth it

Doesn't matter if Grzelyck is not worth that contract. He fulfills a need ( zone exits, puck moving) the team desperately needs with supply on the market very low

It absolutely matters if he is worth that contract. Honestly I’d make a call about Jordan Spence or Calen Addison before I even considered Grzelyck’s name.

Grzelcyk atleast is good defensively, if you are gonna go for an undersized dman why have one like Addison or Spence that are a massive reliability in their own zone.

Addison thrives off the PP aswell which he won’t get PP time Dobson/ Pulock/ Romanov got those spots locked up

Not a single defenseman on LI has done a good job running the power play, and maybe Spence or Addison can.
