I think the lack of high end forwards is gonna drive their price up. I think Seravalli only had Bertuzzi just over 5. It's so hard to guess because one GM will go all in on someone and give them a deal they dont deserve lol.

Yah, I used those projections to make an AGM when they came out. I was shocked at some of them. Mostly on the D side.

Capitals decline. Kuznetsov (retained) is worth far more than Girard (who the Capitals wouldn’t target anyway) and Beaucage who is basically worthless.

Generally accepted consensus on here if I remember correctly in some earlier threads (by both WAS and COL fans) was '24 1st and '25 3rd for Kuzy retained. Girard easily has Hronek trade value. In a vaccuum Girard has more value. Trading him cheaply (and also adding in Beaucage) for a guy who is something of a question mark is not good asset management imo. He's also probably not a need for the Caps so them his value is lower. I do however take your point in that Kuzy has value to the Avs as a 2C if he can bounce back somewhat and that Girard is expendable (if Toews is extended and Byram is signed).
