That Tippet deal feels unfair, but sure!

Agree that Laughton would be really nice on Toronto but not at the cost of Nylander, if Nylander is going to Philly then Konecny better be part of the return

Problem is Laughton and a 1st (and Alison AND the cap space) for an unsigned-unextended Nylander is pretty fair. Nylander unextended and carrying some of that Leaf playoff baggage doesn;t carry just his production worth in 22-23.

Koneckny and Alison for an unextended Nylander probably wouldn;t do it for PHI, as it doesn;t fit what they're building.

Didn’t briere say that PHI is going to rebuild, so what about something like Konecny for 1st and Nick Robertson, curious to see what other franchises value Robertson like

Cause Robertson probably doesn;t have his draft value (a 2nd) anymore. Robertson is a small offensive player, who hasn;t produced, been a healthy scratch and had 2 season ending injuries in his 3 pro seasons. His value is alot higher to the leafs, who lack ready now youth/ELC than to PHI with almost 10 young players ahead of him on the team/minors already. So I dont think Robertson carries much value at the moment, and probably less so to PHI. Robertson is probably worth a 3rd rounder at this point, but I think Toronto needs him more than a 3rd.

Its also the value of the 1sts, TOR has, which are very late in the round.

Some of these trades I don’t like. I don’t like the Toronto trade cause we are rebuilding and it makes no sense. Tippett trade is awful imo I don’t see how we get any value out of that. And then I’m not helping Pittsburgh without holding them ransom. They have only made 3 trades between each other since 2000 for a reason, if they want cap help they have to overpay us

That extreme undervalue for Tip makes me sad.

I know people want to trade Sanheim, but I get this sour taste in my mouth from trading a guy right after he signed to stay for so long in hopes of helping to bring the team back to its former glory. I feel like that could nake other players turned off on the idea of signing, knowing they could just be flipped before the deal truly even kicks in.
