Description
You just know an ACGM will be ridiculous when you see 6 trading partners. Also, Murray will never let them rebuild, so I figured it would be fun to take a swing at clearing house as much as possible given we will never see it happen until Ryan Reynolds buys our team. Maybe Sam Elliott ? It seems like he would be a great fit as the Citi envoy.

CBJ Deal - This is in line with Horvat's trade value as a UFA and Lindholm had better PPG than Horvat (not to mention better defensive metrics). If they did have to trade Lindholm, it would be hard for CBJ to turn down 2/3rds of the best line in hockey. It's a deep draft and Calgary should use the opportunity to fill the coffers.

COL Deal - CGY could get more for Toffoli IMO (and should have at the last deadline) This fills a gap for COL next year and costs a late first and prospect.

SEA Deal - Tanev had a 1.3 GSVA last year which is only behind Dunn and Larsson on SEA's blueline. Oddly, it was the exact same as his brother. Vladar would be a serviceable back up for them. Fully aware SEA fans will see this as an overpayment, and Flames fans will think its a fire sale.

ARI Deal - Perhaps other teams can offer more for Cooley however I think it is fair if he doesn't want to sign with them next year. Its not the 11th hour for him, but I would imagine that Arizona would rather recoup the assets for a sale to a potential bidder than to have assets trying to jump ship on their roster. Side note: Anyone interested in buying and moving the Coyotes should absolutely do it vs getting an expansion team. They're stacked with picks and their biggest issue (revenue) could be solved by the move.

BUF Deal - Same as Seattle: I think both sides will hate it, which makes me believe it might closer than most.

TOR Deal - Is Lafferty worth more than a 3rd? I love the player as a 4C, but he has decent value relative to his cap hit. I was going to take murray's contract as comp, but didn't see trading Markstrom as possible (nor was having wolf/murray ideal for Wolf's development)

I overpaid Philips because he deserves a shot.

If the Avs trade a 1st rounder it will be for a 2c. Can't afford to lose futures, which they're already lacking, for a winger that's due a pay raise. Lindholm perhaps though he may be too rich for the Avs blood.

I am a Toffoli fan. I'd take that deal. But it's not going to be a consensus among Avs fans

Thank you for not asking for 3OA lmao. If Lindy re-signs, I don't hate that deal. I still like Sillinger, but if Johnny tells Jarmo he wants Lindholm, we can let him go.

I'd also be happy to give you a non-Jiricek/Mateychuk D-prospect + a 3rd for Tanev while we're on the phone.

Calgary would love that deal from Buffalo. Getting a top prospect, a solid roster player, a high second and future 2nd for 1 year of Hanifin and 2 or Mang. That’s bad for Buffalo.

Colorado would be interested in Lindholm but I'd say that's about it.

Buffalo declines as it doesn’t make any sense to trade such a high value prospect for 1 year + 2 year guy

I'm sure there's interest in Kadri as well. I doubt Calgary has any in retention though.

As a sabres fan I think I do that. Seems like a good trade for both sides
