I've been saying that since last fall after Stutzle was signed and someone floated rumors just before mid dec that Sanderson was getting an 8 X 8 as soon as they could offer it. I said to my wife that Dorion is handing out 8 mils like the cap doesn't exist and how would they fit the cat in and keep Talbot (at the time he was projected to stay). Then I'm thinking crap, he already knows the cat won't sign in Ottawa. The cat said in interviews that he and his wife were "shocked" to be traded out of Chicago. He specifically mentioned in an interview that "all of my wife's friends are in Chicago". They just had a baby and women like to take their new babies and show them off to their girlfriends. During his exit interview he wouldn't look up when he was asked about staying in Ottawa. I think the trade bus is out in the parking lot with the engine running and his wife is behind the wheel. That is why I think he would only sign with Detroit, St'louis or back in Chicago. (or maybe just a little farther away but not much)
