Well, first of all, you're disregarding Nylander's M-NTC. Secondly, why would WPG trade for him as a pending UFA? He won't re-sign and WPG isn't made into an instant contender just by adding him to the mix. Probably better returns out there for PLD and Helle in separate deals.

Nylander's trade protection doesn't kick in until July 1st. There's a chance that he doesn't resign, but maybe he's not scared of Winterpeg. He's lived in Sweden even if it's not as cold in the cities that he lived in.

I think Dubois will get a great haul in sign and trade and probably does get dealt separate from Hellebuyck.

I do think that Treliving could try to get Hellebuyck but wanted to attempt a bigger deal, with WPG having 9 Dmen though, this is the best I could come up with. The CGY version of this should be easier to envision.
