I think it might be Boqvist. Younger with more offensive upside. Keep in mind they have Jiricek coming up who is going to be lights out on offense in the future.

Top 5 in D zone turnovers, yes. Not top 5 in actual good defensive metrics.

Provy has a great first pass and Severson can lug the mail too. On top of Werenski and young and hungry guys Peeke and Boqvist this is solid.

This is a great D core.

I’m curious, what’s his value sitting at? I know he was like 7th or 8th overall and I know he was a big part of the Seth Jones trade. What would you value him at?

I think a later first isnt unreasonable. Hes got 2 years at a pretty good AAV with huge offensive upside. Late first and another pick maybe 4th or 5th or prospect/depth piece.
