    If CBJ is truly in "deep playoff run or bust" mode for next season, their entire right side should be available.

    It does indeed make him available. Now it's to know his value. Yes he was 8th overall in 2018, but he didn't make much of a impact yet.
    I thought that with all the injuries last season he would be the main guy in defense, which hasn't happened he wasn't a 20 mins defenseman last season.

    He would definitely help bring some offense from the backend for the Isles. What concerns me is he has never played a full season. Looks like he is a bit injury prone. But for the right price I think it makes sense for us to inquire. How does a '24 1st look to you?

    Yes he’s available. He will probably cost a mid to late first so this return is probably good

    I think he's worth a late first.
    I'm a Habs fan and I wonder if he would sense for us in echange for Florida's pick. Out right side is pretty weak, and Mailloux and Barron are our future top 4 on the right, but I think Boqvist as the higher upside.
    It's gonna be interesting to see where he would (could) go.
