Description
Canucks pick Michkov and Reinbacher with picks 10 and 11. They then take Willander with pick 28.

Canucks take a more future based approach. Look to add through the 2023 draft and through prospects, instead of looking to add players to help the team now.

In 2024 they have a few options, and decide to go for it, signing both Nylander and Aho in FA, along with moving their 2025 first for Noah Cates, who is a great young two way centre.

2025 is more of just running with it, they add Reinbacher and Willander to D, along with brining in Michkov to forward. (I will say with all 3 players it may be 1 more year) as they look for the cup

      Very hopeful, because Michkov would be playing in the KHL in 25-26, not for the NHL team that drafts him. Although you did sort of mention it

      Don't think PHI would entertain a Cates trade unless its going to be for a guaranteed top-10 pick at this point.

      Pens laugh and hang up! I’ve checked every pens acgm with Vancouver as a trade partner in the last 3 pages and haven’t found anything close to this trade. However if one did make this, they may have been either high/drunk, or an undercover flyers fan, or an undercover Canucks fan.

      Leafs have no interest in beauvilier (even 50% retained) for one year at that price. A ‘23 1st?!? He was a throw in (cap balance) on Horvat trade, nowhere near that.
