The report from a few days ago said that Blake called Nashville about Saros before the deadline, and they wanted two 1st round picks, which caused Blake to immediately hang up.

If he wasn't willing to do it at the deadline when they were trying to load up for a run, they're not about to do it now.

Or to flip it he could see that with better goalie play in the series against Edmonton he could have very well won that series and possibly be playing for the cup. So he comes back to the trade. I really wouldn’t want the 2 first. I like the to get some of their prospect instead if Nashville was serious about trading saros

Is there an actual, genuine, and trustworthy source on this..? I haven’t been able to find anything on a Saros to LAK trade talks at the deadline aside from David Pagnotta saying it.

Saros was one of our three untouchables, I doubt Poile was entertaining trade talks containing Saros as he knew Trotz wanted a quick turnaround.

Beside the pagnotta tweet there really isn’t nothing but he say. It wouldn’t surprise me to see trotz make a move like this. Not this trade per se but trading saros. He did say they they might take a step back before they move forward in the press conference. Trading saros would most definitely make us take a step back

With an abundance of forwards under contract for 2023-2024, Los Angeles won't be signing any free agent forwards, especially free agent forwards over the age of 35. The money you invested in those dotards is going to re-sign RFAs Gabe Vilardi, Rasmus Kupari and Tobias Bjornfot.

Take out the 2024 first and add a prospect like Madden, Helenius or Pinelli and I could see a trade for Saros.

LA is out on the big name goalies. They don't look like they are moving the assets needed for the Hart, Saros, Helle and don't have the cap for them. LA isn't going to give up 4 years of first in a row (Fiala, Gavrikov and 24th, 25th). That will kill the team down the line.
