Description

Jarmo is under pressure after a miserable season for CBJ and he’s already made some big moves but I don’t think he’s done yet. He addressed some big needs in defence depth but I think the next two big holes to fill are a 1st line C and goaltending.

Lindholm seems to be looking like he wants out of CGY so why not reunite the old line mates. I think it’s a fair trade proposal especially with the sign and trade aspect of it.

Barbashev adds some more depth to the top 9 while Adin Hill coming off a great post season run has Definetly priced himself out of Vegas and I think having him be a 1B behind Merzlikins will take the workload and pressure off Elvis

Hill probably wants to be a starter somewhere if he's leaving Vegas especially if they win.

I would expect Barbashev to command 5M+ on a five year deal (especially if they win). His numbers are similar to Burakovsky who got 5.5Mx5. Maybe even in the 6s if that's what Bertuzzi gets.

Lindholm is not going to be remotely available until after July 1st so any trade for him can't really include a 2023 pick. Thats also not enough for Lindholm

Agreed on Barbashev too. Seeing way too many threads where he's making less than 5. Only way that's even remotely likely imo is if he takes a discount cause he liked it so much playing for Vegas. I'd be shocked if he got less than 6 a year to go anywhere that doesn't have a contending team.
