Bourque is behind both Johnston and Stankoven in terms of prospect readiness, he's the odd man out and gives SJS a needed F prospect. Lundkvist gives SJS a young RHD that can take some of EK's PP minutes and hopefully flourish.

SJS retains 25% of EK making his deal a more palatable 8,625,000 for DAL.

Denisenko needs a change of scenery. He's shown glimpses and could flourish playing middle six minutes in SJ. Late 2nd in a depp draft is an above average asset as well.

Ferraro is a solid top 4 D-man but doesn't fit SJS window and is taking minutes from younger players. FLA identifies a weakness (LHD depth) and gets a young(ish) player with term.

Cap Dump + NYR adds a young effective bottom 6 player.
2024 2nd becomes a first if the NYR reach the ECF or if Gregor scores 20+ goals.
