Don't think the Canucks look at this. Miller is a PPG player, regained his prior season form near the end. His value is back to around what it was before, even at 8m/yr.

Even though we aren’t trying to rebuild, we’d be foolish not to take this. Nikishin is an elite prospect

Canes don’t even consider. Nikishin is completely off limits, and the Canes wouldn’t have any interest in Miller without his AAV being close to 4-5mil. Miller to Carolina won’t happen
