laugh Mantha is a buyout candidate, Zero chance in hell he returns a late 1st.

And Colorado with Landy on LTIR has close to $14,000,000 in cap space. Sakic easily matches that offer sheet on Byram.

Wild would maybe like Kuzy. But no way, can they make a trade like that for cap constraints.

You think Goligoski gets you Howard? Bhahahahahahaha!!! That's funny!! The rest more than covers Seabrook's contract so Howard for a 37 yo Goligoski? Come on now. TB just signs a UFA LD @900k or less or gets a young cost controlled one via trade.

Ovi sucks right now? He is still the best player on the capitals and really doesn't seem to be slowing down.

ovi is a very one dimensional player who can rip that puck and not do very much else too effectively. as much as he scores he does not to an amazing amount of anything when he isnt scoring. he certainly isnt playing nine million bones worth of hockey when he steps onto that ice. especially not when youre getting two top six centers and one of the best young goalies in the league (rehab be damned) in return for him

You obviously do not watch the capitals play, he brings grit as well, he throws the body just as much as the normal power forward. He actually makes very good passes setting up other players as well, as much as you don't think he can. And ever since 2017 he has actually tired in the d-zone. I would say he is still a top 10-15 player in league.

Why ?

Any Sabres fan that craves for Wilson is no different than the Ranger fans (including owner Dolan) who became incensed with how their team got pushed around by Wilson 2 years ago. Wilson's on the downside of his career and his intimidational, physical reputation isn't compelling enough of an argument for the Sabres to give up that kind of 4-piece package, especially two young, quality players in Krebs and Jokiharju.

As much as fans may want to view Lyubushkin as a "spare part", he's beloved by his teammates and a reliable bottom pairing defenseman. Adams also always emphasizes that he wants to "treat players right" as a way of restoring the organization's reputation with other players around the league - dumping a player after just the first year of a 2-year free agent signing doesn't help that goal or perception.
