You have me laughing so hard I am crying!!! no one and I do mean no one is giving up Dvorak and 5th OVA for Alexis Freaking Lafreniere! Hell at this point you might be lucky to get Dvo + a 2nd!

These are some very questionable trades. I would say all of them except the last heavily favor 1 team and not the other

Laf is looking like a long shot that’s more likely than not to be a mid 6 winger, whereas Montreal can probably get Michkov at 5th overall, I can’t see them making that trade

I would tend to agree.... but then again it is Montreal...imagine they would do it for less.

Ir wasn't a successful trade but i wouldn't qualify it as bad and the time it seemed a reasonable enough price

Montreal had the chance to do a quick retool after the offersheet and instead decided a ridiculous run in the covid bubble when you should have missed the playoffs by like 5 teams meant you should compete.

It was a disaster

I'm an Anglophone chief, born and raised in Onterrible. Leaf fans, overall, take the cake for the most dense fanbase in the history of sports.

Just to be clear, Laf is already a top 6 winger.
He put up 39 points, which for left wings was 49th overall. There are 32 teams x 2 = 64.

He's barely outside the production of a first line LW (at even strength). For the 22-23 season he's 35th for all Left Wings.
