I think the jets would prefer to move PLD and Helle to LA for Byfield.

Cap doesn't work for LA, like for even one of those pieces.

They will make a push for goalie, but no chance they move Byfield or Clarke for a rental. Like absolutely no chance.

Even if Winnipeg signed PLD to a 8 year deal on his expected extension and immediately retained 50% of it in a trade, LA still couldn't afford that cap hit.
