Wow, that's actually a rational offer from TOR to WPG.

If any Jet fan says no to this, they are the biggest homer ever.

Why do I see Jarnkrok being flipped for a pick so often?

The guy scored 20 and is making 2.1m

Robertson ain't giving you 20. and the Leafs traditionally run a low-event 3rd line.

Not rational, but it's a massive massive win for the Jets. They get a good goalie, loads of futures and RD that is already playing well in the NHL. Goalies are not worth this much.

Not so much traditionally, but that is how Keefe likes to run things.

I'd accept that trade, but I must ask.

Why not just re-sign Samsonov and have him platoon with Woll.

Samsonov wasn't great in the playoffs, but he had a very good regular season, won't cost more prospects and picks, and Woll is an NHL goalie.

I see all these goaltending trades by Leafs fans on this forum and I don't understand it.

Traditionally, Under Keefe, they run a low event 3rd line. That's exactly what I meant.

Unless Keefe has a philosophy change, or a big personnel change, then I believe we see a low-event 3rd line, that has a very high dZS% and can suppress chances against. Robertson is not that guy.

i dont mind the moves. think they are fair enough. my only thing is the remainder of the team. you have 2 bandaids in Robertson and Monahan and no cap space. this team will be in emergency recalls by week 2 of the season.

I wish they would have traded Robertson after the bubble playoffs. He had higher value back then. I think he's going to be a decent player one day but not for TO. He's just not the type of player we need.

He's too bottled up in the organization, as we've got to much of what he brings. We need some different players. I still think there is value in him though.

Really? Samsonov was good last season. His stats were as good as Hellebuyck. Samsonov is cheaper and more years of control than Helly. It's a massive overpayment by the Leafs.
Rather have young and good Liljgren over Point.
