Not a legitimate contender with that lineup, weak down the middle

Lysell and Ullmark would be a very impressive package but I still think that it'd be a mistake by the Kraken to give Wright up.
Top 6 Cs don't grow on trees, whereas goalies and wingers kinda do.

Also, Devils have very little use for Forbort, but Grzelcyk might be of interest to them.

Contracts are mostly okay but not enough for Grzelcyk and both NJ & SEA don't do this. It's a contender... a playoff contender but not a Cup one.

Odds are Lohrei will need to start the year in Providence, he definitely isn't gonna be ready for top pair duty. Also I really don't see Seattle trading Wright, especially not for a goalie.

I don’t think Seattle considers this, but I do wonder if Swayman, Gryz, and Lysell for Wright and Driedger is something both teams would consider. It is a massive risk for both teams, but it basically resolves the biggest questions each team has.

My assumption is we can trade Forbort, but I would NOT expect value for him

I agree with you, I was surprised to see Conroy publish this rumor in the Boston Herald at the end of May. However, if Seattle is inclined to move Wright for a goalie I think it makes all sense in world for Bruins to deal one of their goalies and a top prospect to get him.

I saw some other guy trade Gryz to Caps; he could go anywhere, next time I won't send him to DC haha.

Sea proposal is based off Conroy article from end of may https://www.bostonherald.com/2023/05/28/nhl-notes-trade-jeremy-swayman-only-for-the-wright-stuff/

I was looking at NJD, figure they could use a veteran presence on back end but Forbort, like Gryz, could go anywhere for picks. Reilly obv getting bought out. I know the right move would be for Lohrei to go to PROV but maybe in the Montgomery era management is more comfortable with the idea of on the job training in the pros, live with the growing pains.

Leafs Fan 98 you're in worse shape than us. But I will say this is to start the season; can always add at the deadline. Go Bs!

my bad man, not trying to be a dick lol. my comment is more of a general PSA across capfriendly. We've got our 6 defenseman set, yet all the Caps trades on here either send us a defenseman, or take Tom Wilson. It's exhausting lmao

Taylor Hall on the other hand...... now I'm interested

No actually, the Leafs aren't; I know that the Leafs while make the playoffs, barring any wild injuries if they still choose to contend. Boston might not have that luxury

Wright would be a guy I genuinely fell the B´s would be willing to move Swayman for! Key factor is how far Brandon Bussy has come as a future replacement - anyone with a point of view on that!??
