EASY NO on both trades
1st trade : Stutzle is 5 years younger and has 8 years left at a very reasonable cap hit. Kaprizov only has 3 years left before UFA, and it will take a gigantic AAV to re-sign him. Stutzle also is a Center who will become a 2-way force.
Also not trading another 1st round pick. Zuccarello has value for sure and I would like to get him but that 1st and Stutzle are not pieces I am trading
2nd trade : Brannstrom is coming into his own and will continue to rise. Addison can rack up assists on the PP but is a liability defensively. Brannstrom is opposedly becoming quite good defensively

Kap is better than Stutzle, eventually Sens need to make playoffs. Kap is a guarantee for that, you have centers that are good enough when there is Brady or Kirill on their wings. You can use DeBrincat to get a younger version of Stutz. Actually, you know, win; utilize having Claude and then flip Kirill for your continuous rebuild.
You are 100% right that they need to make the playoffs but subtracting Stutzle and Brannstrom while adding older players and Addison are not going to fix management and coaching incompetency. We finally have new ownership who might do it so keep Stutzle and build around him.
And DeBrincat is not going to return a Stutzle caliber prospect, not even close. One of the youngest players in a long time to hit 90 pts

I think Stutzle is great, So is Keller, so was Eichel, So is Peterson, eventually Ottawa needs to get over the hump and win... Kirill has won every where he has been and one day he will win a Cup.. Tim maybe/maybe not. You have a good young D core, Find a goalie and you can win now with this.
Disagree, this move would be pretty bad for Ottawa's chances, for reasons mentioned above. Zuccarello is soon 36 and without another 1st in 2024, the prospect pool will get even thinner.
