This doesn't make any sense for the Canes. They're using Pesce to move up 17 spots and get 2 2nds and a dude that's a depth piece... no. If you drop one of the 2nds and 30th overall, and maybe swap Bryson for Joki, it's a little better. This is just... it makes no sense

The least canes thing to do - trade Pesce and a 1st. There is effectively no difference between the 1sts and conditions given. It’s basically Pesce for Bryson and 2 seconds.

I read this as if BUF makes the playoffs in 2024 then the BUF 2024 2nd turns into a BUF 2024 1st, also moving up 17 spots in the 1st round makes a huge difference but Im not a fan of either team and dont know pesce's exact value so this offer could be off, idk

Canes aren’t much of the ‘move up’ type. They value more darts to throw, and moving from late first to middle first, or late second to late first isn’t as large as you think…even in a ‘deep’ 2023 draft

Im not sure that this trade really makes sense for tampa, if they get rid of colton it would be to create cap to sign killorn possibly so we couldnt take on olofsson. Maybe this trade could be restructured around a LHD if BUF has any available although I like UPL

Pesce, 30 for 13, 39, probable mid 1st and Bryson? If the Canes can't extend Pesce, why wouldn't they take this? If I'm the Canes I take out Bryson and the 2nd and just put Joker in there. That's a solid deal.

Replace UPL w/ Stillman and Tampa Bay at least considers it.
