Someone probably beats that offer for Saros if Nashville does a decent job shopping him around.

It would also be up to Murray as he shunned the Sabres last summer. That said, it is tempting, but for me not quite enough considering the Leafs will have just jettisoned nearly $5m with the only pain being a drop of 17 spots in a 28-45 range that could very well yield a very similar player.

Make it the Kings 3rd instead of Buffalo's 2nd and I could probably live with it.

Based on the talks that NSH had with LA at the deadline, the asking price for Saros is 2 1sts and a A-tier prospect minimum. NSH isn't shopping him, they are just listening to offers. They have no reason to move on from him when NSH can do the same thing they did with Rinne and Saros with Saros and Askarov. If you want Saros that badly, there needs to be a lot more you are willing to pay.
