VanCity fans what are the prices now

Description
So you got rid of OEL with minimum pain THIS SEASON, but still are up against the cap hard. Maybe somebody else could go for a cheaper replacement or some cap space? Woo doesn;t really count in that regard, but I'm still asking his price. Thanks.

Btw I'm making my first ever visit to Vancouver in a couple weeks, so feel free to shout out your best good value independent mom and pop type food spots! Especially North Vancouver or downtown! I want to know the spots the locals go to for the good stuff! All cuisines welcome, except Thai (so much coconut milk everywhere... I just can't do it).

To be honest I'd be down to keep Woo and see what he can do this year. Probably gets into a few games and I don't think we should trade RHD prospects right now.

Garland the Canucks are gonna have to pay like a late 3rd or a 4th to get rid of
Beauviller can get a 4th
Woo like a 6th or 5th

Buying out OEL was the nuclear option.

It means that the price to get out of their other contracts is extremely high - and that they aren't willing to pay it

Noice, I'm putting on my list. Actually, the Reuben caught my eye the most.

So let me just get this straight: you'd do Garland, Woo and Toronto's 3rd for a 5th???

After the OEL buyout the team won’t be paying assets to move anyone except maybe a late pick to move Myers after his bonus is paid. Even then I’m guessing they’ve decided to hold onto him for a while after the Bear injury news. Boeser and Garland are still players that can contribute for them, so unless the right deal comes along that helps them positionally (C or D), then I’m guessing they stay.

And Woo?

Developed nicely towards the end of last year. Isn't worth trading him for a late pick

I’m thinking he could’ve been acquired very cheap last year, but he had a decent bounce-back season in the AHL so I doubt they move him unless it’s for a prospect they like more.

What kind of pick? Would a 24 3rd do it?

Considering how little value Garland has around the league even though should have value yes if that clears cap lmao. Though some Canucks fans are still in denial about Garland having to cost assets to get rid of.

No chance on any of those evaluations.

They aren't forced to create capspace anymore. They're not paying to move off garland. I'm sure a team can get him for free basically but they're not paying anymore.

Beauvillier they'd want a 2nd probably.

Woo won't be traded this summer.

He won't cost anything to get rid of now. Other teams have 0 leverage now that the Canucks have 10+ mil in cap space to work with

How are you getting to 10.5M? I see 6.5. Is Pearson still going to miss next season?

Pearson and Poolman are expected to be on LTIR all season at this point.
