Don’t think the Devils are a fit. His cap and term are too much let alone they don’t want more small forwards

Why on earth would you sign Jarry when Demko is already there. No reason to spend 5 million on a backup. Crazy.

Dumba is washed... waste of another 5 million.

Hawks would accept but Vancouver doesn't do this.

A change of scenery can be all he needs. He is still impactful night in, night out on a sub-par Wild team. If he plays in Van, he can be a big piece especially alongside Hughes playing in a shutdown role. Canucks want to just make playoffs, this team gets you to playoffs.

Devils have been linked to Garland multiple times.

Demko-Jarry would be an insane goalie tandem. When Demko inevitably gets injured, Jarry will be there to hold the net down.

If everyone Canucks want to draft at 11th are gone, I can see them making this trade.

remember when people said “change of scenery” about OEL and his albatross contract? Canucks shouldn’t go anywhere near Dumba

I don’t think anyone said that. Two completely different situations.

Also Garland being traded for a third is incredibly disrespectful when he has a 88% war and is over 75% both ends of the ice 5v5. Way too little for a player who is an analytical darling.

This is true, but if I had done anything differently, people would’ve complained that I got “too much for him”. Personally, if I didn’t publish this I think Garland is worth a late first-round - early second-round pick. He’s hard to play against and at a reasonable cap hit as well.
