If you want Berggren it's a second and third at most going with him. Honestly I'm on the side of not trading Berggren for Cat at all but I think that is an acceptable fair price. If not Berggren and you want the first, #17, Kubalik and a third. Kubalik gives a replaceable player who can put up 20-25 goals. Around those I think would be acceptable by both fan bases. Ideally Ottawa gets more and Detroit pays less. I personally wouldn't trade for Debrincat for either of those prices cause he wouldn't make our team that much better. Berggren likely to score 25 next season, Cat maybe 35 if he's lucky.

Tick tock, Tick tock, With two weeks to go might be forced to QO DeBrincat (believe it is 9m). Not sure how they can afford that. Sens really don't have any leverage in trades. The very few teams that have cap are in no hurry to trade for a 9m, one year player.

Pretty soon Sens fans will be expecting Larkin, Raymond and Seider for Cat. I'd go after Konecny. I worry about how effective Cat would be in the playoffs.

They have already requested arbitration. That means he's automatically qualified and will receive at least 85% of those 9 millions on a one year deal.
