Not enough for the hawks to take Granlund imo. Pens would be fortunate to get a second.

Pens aren't dumping Granlund. They are either:
1.) Keeping him
2.) Buying him out
3.) Trading him for a different overpaid player

You couldn't get a 1st round pick for Taylor Raddysh if you tied a $10 million money belt to his waste.

His numbers were AWFUL and considering he played top 6 minutes my 10 year old probably could have scored almost as many goals. Billy Guerin rarely deals picks and in this draft he's probably going to look to move up if he can.

Leafs do not accept; we are not moving down 27 spots to dump Murray - a good nhl goalie (if healthy). If he’s not healthy - we put him on LTIR.

If he’s a good NHL goalie I think the leafs would be fine with letting Samsonov go unqualified and keeping him right?

Sammy is better 🤷🏻, and unlike Hawks, Leafs are trying to get max performance from every position. Worst case - we buy Murray out but please keep posting (at least) one gm a day with Murray going to hawks with a 1st 😕. I get there is not much to look forward to as a hawks fan but surely you can acquire 1st rounders from some other team

Minnesota will absolutely not do this! They aren't trading a 1st for a player who will be at best a 3rd liner for a year or two then get traded because top winger prospect are ready. Our gm also has never parted with a 1st in any trade so that isn't happening for a player wanting to get paid or whose cap hold will be expensive

Yo bud, just checking in - hate to be that guy but 😏 I told you so. Bailey ($5M cap hit) dumped for 2026 2nd (2026 😂) but you were adamant Murray ($4.6M cap hit) would cost leafs 2023 1st (downgraded to 2nd). No one is right all the time - you are living proof of that. Cheers and keep up the great work 👍

Weird flex considering you guys are still on the hook for the Murray cap hit. Enjoy paying that man almost 5 million to be a backup? Also,I never said that this trade necessarily would happen, but that if it did then the structure of this trade would make the most sense for both teams considering draft capital. The hawks did well in the Bailey deal, I will not elaborate.
