If Winnipeg has a playoff spot at the deadline, and looks real good they will look to extend El Nino.
Girard is of no interest to Winnipeg.
They won't retain on El Nino, and trade Scheifele to a divisional rival unless the rival gives them an offer they can't refuse

I understand the Jets have a pretty full blueline but Girard is for mainly cap purposes, Jets can attempt to flip him.

That won't trade to a division rival vomit isn't real. Most GM's on this subject think like Dorian not fans. If they think it helps their team they do it, if they don't they don't.

Avs decline. That's a whopping overpay for two rentals the Avs have little to no hope of re-signing. Also I don't think Sundqvist is worth that contract.
