After reading CHN article on sharangovich, he does seem to be a perfect fit for colorado. Using the 1st, col trades back for 2 2nds and uses one to trade to NJ and still have another 2nd for next year's draft. I also signed yegor to the exact same contract that butakovsky first signed in colorado.

Jesper Fast seems to be a great firt in Col given his defensive awareness and his speed, can also move up in the lineup if injuries occur.

I picked up Eller and Stastny basically for their veteran presence which would help the development for players such as Newhook and Meyers.

As for Newhook at 2C... I don't like the idea of forcing a trade for a bona-fide 2C when there isn't a realistic option out there that doesn't sacrifice the future of the team given their lack of picks, prospects and cap space. Trying Newhook out at 2C isn't a bad idea and if it doesn't workout they have other options on the team that could fill the void temporarily. This also gives them extra cap space to play with to make inseason trades
