That trade makes no sense for the Blues. Adding age, cap and removing assets, the opposite of a retool

The Blues won't have an iota of interest in that, and they couldn't afford it if they did.

Hawks are going to want a 2nd to take Mantha. Counteroffer is Reece Johnson + #67OA for Mantha #40OA, otherwise pick a future 2nd. Otherwise buying out Mantha probably makes more sense.

I feel like I’ve seen this Kuzy for Neighbors and the Dallas 1st trade a few times now, and of course every time Blues fans explain it’s not a good fit. Not sure why it keeps popping up.
