Description

It is essential the Flyers get rid of Sanny now. I am not going to criticize his play, I think he is a good bargain at 6.25M over his prime years. But for Philadelphia, there is good organizational depth at the LD position, the 6.25M cap hit can be utilized in order to facilitate the rebuild, and most importantly we lose Sanny's NTC which gives the organization unlimited freedom to utilize the 6.25M in the future.

Why would Arizona make that deal? Trade Sanheim to a team that is competing and needs a LD.

No way the Yotes are in a position to a) take on $50M total for Travis Sanheim, and b) give up the 12th overall pick to do it
