Wyshynski posted an article about NHL trade dominos this offseason, and this one took the cake. In this scenario, New York traded for DeBrincat and needs to shed some cap. The answer?

Especially since buying him out will save them 200k. So they are basically paying first to 200k. But it does explain some posts here on this site.
