Even though many are treating garly like a cap dump, I think he is worth more than that

Make it a third instead

Interesting take for the Seeler trade, could honestly drop the 7th and just have 1 for 1. I'll start doing that trade in any ACGM I make from now on

Yeah idk why I included the 7th, pretty irrelevant value either way. Drury probably gets a late second or early third so thought that value was fairly close on Seeler.

You had me until the 1st for Henrique, I think there's better options for a center using that pick than him.

And there's less than zero percent change Buffalo moves Tuch, but I think he' a good fit in Carolina

There's a big difference between Jersey/Severson and Canes/Pesce. Severson was an upcoming UFA, so Jersey allowed him to negotiate with another team. Why didn't Severson take his chances on being a UFA in a month? Columbus overpaid.
Canes allowing Pesce to negotiate when he is still under for one full year seems wildly impractical. What happens when Pesce isn't signed by the Sabres and then has to return to his team that tried to trade him. I don't think the Sabres would be as foolish as CBJ. Pesce will be almost 30 when his next contract starts. Anything long term seems very iffy.

Yeah thought it might be a tad high on Henrique. Maybe it’s a second Suzuki and another small piece.

I agree, there are definitely some cap strapped teams that need to move a better center than Henrique. Also if GMKA moves a cost controlled first line wing in Tuch he should be fired immediately. Even if hypothetically he were to be traded I don't know that trade is even value.

I get what you’re saying but my point is an extension is in place at the time of the trade. It can be different terms but I assume pesce is looking for the Severson comp. Main thing is buf isn’t worried about him walking for nothing in a year.

Or maybe some retention? Or a lesser prospect than Suzuki? Its not a bad idea but didn't love the price

Agree on Tuch. Honestly had no clue how to value that trade, not that it matters bc it’s purely a hypothetical thought exercise.

Yeah good call. Thought about retention but also didn’t really need it with this acgm so can probably just lower the price.

I'll take the Drury deal. Honestly you can do a 1 for 1 and I'd be happy. Though I'd expect the Canes would want some more attached.

Since this is all fake, presuming Tuch was not in love with the Sabres and he has elevated his game since joining the team, presuming Pesce is already signed for 7 more years it is fair.
Teräväinen essentially jumps into Tuch's top line spot giving two LH wingers for Thompson to feed and Pesce becomes Buffalo's top RHD.

With that analysis, the trade will not happen.
Tuch is in hog heaven playing for the Sabres, Pesce and Teräväinen could not replace his contagious enthusism.

What if I told you pesce loves jumping through plastic tables? Maybe that replaces Tuch’s love for BUF??

Idk Drury prob worth a 2nd? Seeler worth what? A third? Didn’t put a ton of thought into it so could tweak it but Drury wants more PT and Seeler would be a good 6/7D for us at a cheap rate.
