Dallas - Hopeful ideas

Description
With the reported news that Dallas is not going to be buying out any players this off season and the no-movement clauses in affect for players not playing to their cap hit, Dallas is in a tricky spot this off season when trying to add a Right shot defenseman and a possible right winger. But in the event Dallas does land Debrincat (I don't think they do), they will most likely have to buyout someone, and it will either be a trade of Radek or Suter buyout or in this scenario both.

In this scenario, Debrincat comes to Dallas and we pick up the RD we need from the kings who will have Doughty and Brandt as their top two RD so Durzi may be odd man out.

I understand this is a shot in the dark but worth a try.

Dellandrea expected to sign a bridge deal north of 2mil. Damiani and Studenic sign either their qual offer or just north of it for 850k each.

I don’t mind Grushnikov, and I’d be fine with that return, but if the Kings trade Durzi it’ll be to get Spence or Clarke in the lineup. Not a big use for Miller.

Sean Durzi is not a "shot in the dark" -- we're actively shopping him. But we can't afford to take any cap back. Thomas Hanley is too much, Grushnikov is too little, and you don't have the top-half second in 2023 or 2024 that would be a part of a Durzi trade. The only realistic permutation of this deal is Durzi plus our 2024 fourth for your 2024 first. I'm not sure you want to do that, but then again, you did pay a first for Nils Lundkvist.

Pierre Dorion will drive Debrincat to Dallas himself to close that deal.

Solid offer for Cat, But too bad that he's not taking anything less than 8 x $8,500,000 on his next contract. So that puts you a little over the cap.

Sens accept! Although I’m sure they’d prefer the 2024 1st over 2025, but value wise easily one of the better offers they could get.
