None of those trade below the TDA trade will happen. Flyers should just take Michkov or stronghold WASH for an overpay. Laughton will get more. Not enough for Hart and Tk. Myers supposedly isn’t on the trade block anymore. And we aren’t getting Suzuki

You think adding Niemela gets it done for Laughton?

BOS pick could be close to a lottery-pick or a 1st round exit with BOS current cap situation (maybe no Bergeron or Krejci and probably have to move Ullmark and/or Hall as well). Not sure who else DET could be willing to give up. Doubt Berggren/Wallinder/Mazur/Johansson would be available and definitely not Kasper or Edvinsson. Maybe Hart gets dealt seperately?

I think there is no chance Tk and Hart get dealt together because the return would have to be so huge that 1 team likely wouldn’t want to pay it.They have already turned down 1sts for Laughton so need to throw in a prospect to get it done

I'm not sure if that was ever confirmed about Laughton. Niemela was a top prospect but I think may have taken a step back since last summer.

No multiple insiders talked about the Flyers turning down offers from the Leafs too and the Sens also checked in

Dude - you realize Laughton has scored 82 goals in 519 career games (basically 7.5 seasons)? Underwhelming …Those are bottom 6, grinder type numbers. Leafs won’t pay a 1st alone for him never mind add one of our top prospects (in a high value position, RHD).

I think you're undervaluing what he brings to the table a bit, but I also think PHI is overvaluing him a bit as well.

Agree to disagree, but that’s a fair comment. I also have not been able to find any reputable source indicating Leafs offered and had turned down their 2023 1st for Laughton; it’s all media hype by flyers mgmt and fans. Kind of weird to get so excited about tearing your team down, but I guess I would do the same if the leafs were in that situation
