Description
This was inspired by the TK trade idea posted earlier. My main concern is Perfetti at center. If these were the other trades made (I know, you would have done things differently) who would you go after? The most obvious trade asset remaining is Logan Stanley, and the best way to get cap space is by moving or buying out Schmidt. Would you use that space to sign a short-term UFA to plug 2C this year?

It would require other moves first for buffalo- like getting a vet goalie to provide stability with Levi, that would make upl expendable. I like the idea of Dillon, he would bring a physical presence and be an upgrade over stillman.

Yeah, I'm willing to assume that's the priority this summer. I'd also be willing to have Eric Comrie as the Winnipeg backup again, although that wouldn't get you Dillon.

Philly would accept, but why would Winnipeg? after moving Scheifele and Dubois, there are basically no C's to roster this team

Which brings us to those trades.

GUARANTEED, Kuzy has Winnipeg on his 10 team no trade list...

Dubois for 1 year of Debrusk, odds are he leaves, and Dubois was dumped for nothing.

Hellebuyck wants the East Coast. He's not going to LA.

And PLD to LA, Is all but a done deal.
