Trying to come up with a comparable offer to the LA rumor of Vilardi + Iafallo for Dubois... just to show what Hughes has probably walked away from in trade negotiations with WPG.

Best comparison I can think of would be Vilardi = Dach and Iafallo = Anderson. It's an absurd price for a team like MTL to even consider but that appears to be the return WPG is gonna be able to get from LA. Don't quite understand the logic for LA as Vilardi has the potential to be just as good as Dubois, he already scored goals at a higher rate than him last season and he would cost half as much on a bridge deal. Really hope MTL stays away from that. I'd rather see them try to nab Lafreniere from the rangers, Rangers fans what would be the asking price for a trade?

There is no way that's the return that would be ridiculous, from the credible insiders I have seen Vilard + Iafallo for Dubois now they need to negotiate a deal... there may be other pieces but that's the framework I seen.

Edit:
Hellebuyk would need to be included if that's the return.

If you know it's clickbait then why spread it lol? This is what I was going off of:

I also just seen this:

Harkins makes sense to replace the roster spot of Iafallo potentially. LA needs low cap hits if they are adding Dubois.

With Anderson having such huge negative value, Montreal would jump all over that. But Anderson is nowhere close in value to Iafallo.
