You’re at least $1.5M short on both Colton and Mayfield. Pay someone else to retain on Girard and drop Mikkola altogether.

Crap deal for the Hawks.

MacDermid is a low level face puncher that doesn’t do anything consistently at the NHL level, he is a no value asset. So that means in this proposal the Hawks are giving up 4 picks;including two seconds; for Colorado’s first (#27), which is too much.

If on draft night there is someone the Hawks really like who is still available at #27 then perhaps the Hawks would trade the two 2nd round picks you proposed. If the Avalanche insist on including MacDermid then my offer would be no more then picks #44 (Ottawa 2nd) and Chicago’s 3rd (# 67).

Hawks probably accept. It's a lot of picks but another 1st rounder would be worth it.

Tampa Bay declines. If Colton is willing to sign for that he stays in Tampa. And Tampa isn't paying their 3rd pair LD $3.5m per year anyway. Plus Girard gets little to no PP time in Tampa. Girard just isn't a good fit in Tampa.

Im honored.

You’re underpaying mayfield.

The Chicago and TBL trades won’t happen, and I don’t think the Avs move girard anyway.

I hate getting rid of Frankie frown

That third line would be fire tho

I've said it once and I'll say it again, MacDermid is the PERFECT Blackhawk. Loved by his teammates, will (according to announcers) protect Bedard, he is cheap and best of all, he help the Hawks tank. He is terrible and will help you lose another 6-8 games.
