Philly might want to get rid of Hayes but he will cost. They don’t have to trade him but it would help them get the rebuild going

I guess that depends how high you are on topi personally I don't see him being a top 4 DMAN

Personally I’d give the top defenceman at the world juniors in 2021 a chance and not be a free piece in a trade to dump a goalie you can just as easily buy out. Just me though

Colorado is certainly not moving their top 4 puck moving Dman for such an underwhelming return. The sentiment on here may be that Girard is undersized and bad, however that is far from the truth to the Avalanche organisation who values what he brings to the table, primarly zone exits and in the transition. If you want him, sure trade for him, but please view him as a valuable piece when you do so.

Sorry, this rant was not at all personally against you. I have just seen too many people acting like he has no value to Colorado on here lately.

Leafs are not giving up Niemela to dump Murray when they can buy him out and only have 600k on the cap this year.

Hawks don't make any of these 4 trades. Putting aside Hayes refused to sign w/ Hawks after he was drafted, a late 1st isn't enough to take on a $7m cap hit for 3 years for a declining player. No interest in acquiring Murray. Hawks are set in goal. Not enough for Hawks to take on almost $6m in cap dumps from Oilers. Hawks aren't trading away a 1st for Girard.
