Make it Columbus's 2023 3rd or 2024 2nd and you might have a deal. Still, the timeline for Pageau could be tricky (blocking extensions for our young players), and I doubt he waives his NTC to come to Columbus anyway.

Jackets shouldn’t be the ones adding. Pageau is on the wrong side of 30. Not sure he makes sense for the jackets

I would be very surprised if he signed for two years at that AAV. Seems well below what he could get.

Like the Bailey trade, Like the Peeke-Pageau trade, I'd rather sign a veteran for a year and wait for Ruslan to improve than trade away Dufour for Strum, I'm not set in stone for Garland. maybe try to find a way to get Crouse out of Arizona

Hawks decline and counter w/ Bailey at full salary and cap hit along with Isles '24 2nd. Hawks aren't taking a lesser pick for retention they don't need.
