    He has 2 years left I doubt he is that easy to unload. I could be wrong, but guys with term are much harder to dump.

    yes it costs money to dump contracts.. but Arvidsson is not a cap dump not at all. He had 60 points in 77 games last year... and was unbelievable in the playoffs. For $4.25 million that is a steal of a contract

    Solid point, but I do see Arvidsson as a bit of a Smith comparable. Similar point production at close cap hits. Arvidsson outperforms in both which is why the 2nd was added, not sure what the Kings cap situation looks like with 8.5 Dubois
