I don't think Verbeek takes a goalie at 33. My money would be on Strbak, but that depends on how the organization feels about Moore and Helleson. It's probably Gauthier, as I think that's where we are weakest organizationally.

Outside chance it's Danny Nelson.
I'm with you on Gauthier or Ziemmer, but the goalies are so far down on almost all of the mock drafts I've seen (including Bob McKenzie's) that I wouldn't mind if Verbeek traded the two late seconds for one of them.

I'd say use one of the late 2nds or our third to get a goalie. Maybe wait until next year depending on who's avaliable when our picks turn up.
Given that my desire for Fantilli fell through, I have no idea. Cristall would be my number 1, but I agree with everyone that a true RW probably makes more sense at this point. Don't take a friggin' goalie at 33OA though, for the love of god.
Edit: I wouldn't be opposed to Dragicevic though. RD pipeline looks like Drysdale-Luneau-Helleson right now, but I have zero problem adding another (and then go trade for Debrincat, you cowards!)
Wow! This is a shock -- and an unpleasant one, at that.
Apparently a very solid defensive forward from the few quick things I've read about him. I don't think we're ever drafting a short player again until the next GM shows up though...

He was 56th on Bob McKenzie's list, so he probably would have been available at the #59 slot. I would much rather have selected Ethan Gauthier or, if we were going to choose a LW, Andrew Cristall.

Yup. Maybe we're getting a Rico-style guy though. Who knows. Martin Madden hasn't let me down...yet..

Ouf. Tampa somehow turning depthy Ross Colton into Ethan Gauthier seems like a fairly large W.
You sure were right about Danny Nelson and I sure was wrong about Riley Heidt.
Clara was...... A decision I guess?
Thing I've read about all the picks this far is they all flew up the rankings in the latter part of this past season, but THW didn't expect to see Clara off the board until the 6th round.

Passing on Riley Heidt twice and Koehn Ziemmer three times was a mistake, in my view.
The only other surprise to me is how far LhD Caden Price has fallen.
